Copenhagen Hotels

The majority of Danish cities and towns have a very small number of hotels, which are either representations of Danish history and culture, or are not worth the price they ask.

Copenhagen, being the center of the country in almost all ways, offers a great number of choices regarding accommodation, particularly Copenhagen hotels.

There are both luxurious and budget hotels. Most importantly, the price usually corresponds to the conveniences.

Some of the most popular hotels are Hilton Copenhagen Airport Hotel, Radisson Blu Hotel, Wakeup Copenhagen, Ascot Hotel & Spa, Omena Hotel, and Cabinn Metro.

As the name itself suggests, Hilton Copenhagen Airport Hotel is the best for those who want to stay overnight before their next flight. It includes all necessary facilities and is close to the airport.

You can also do your business at Hilton Airport Hotel. There is a big conference center and a number of meeting rooms for smaller gatherings.

The hotel facilities include a spa with treatments for the whole body (let’s face it, it’s very desirable after airports) and fitness.

Three main types of rooms (382 in number) are available: Executive, King and Twin. The rooms include the most necessary conveniences you might need after a long or tiring flight. A minibar, desk, slippers, phone, and so on. You can also get Wi-Fi access for a small fee.

You can bring your pet along, though keep in mind that more than one is not allowed. Accessibility features for wheelchairs are available.

This is one of the most expensive hotels in Copenhagen. Of course, it has facilities that are superb, like a decent fitness center, shopping center, garden, piano, and one of the biggest conference centers in Scandinavia.

The hotel is particularly famous for an awesome casino, in fact, it’s the biggest one in Northern Europe.

In a word, it is a trustful hotel, as the chain has points in the majority of Danish cities. In return for comfort, you will have to pay a big amount of money. Be aware, this is not an affordable hotel.

542 rooms of the hotel can be Standard, Business and Family rooms, as well as Junior Suites. The rooms are quite clean and comfortable, which is probably the main reason for such a high price.

Radisson Blu is pet-friendly and provides accessibility features.

Ascot Hotel & Spa is a mid-range, perhaps more luxurious oriented, hotel, worth considering.

Of course, the best one of the hotel facilities is its Spa service with a nice hot tub and a health club. The ideal place where you can forget your troubles and fully relax is called Mirage Spa and Wellness area.

You can have all types of massages and treatments, and have a full rest from tiring sightseeing.

There are 194 rooms in total, which are Single, Double, Standard and Superior. Room amenities are not very special, mainly conveniences that are most crucial for a comfortable stay.

Hotel’s business center is open 24 hours a day, which makes this site a wonderful place to dive deep into work.

Be careful, the territory of this hotel is smoke-free, and you might be fined if you get caught smoking. Unfortunately, accessibility features are not provided.

Its main advantage is its location. There are a number of shops, restaurants, and eating places nearby. The hotel is also close to Tivoli Gardens.

You have to do your check-in and check-out yourself. Some tourists like the freedom, others don’t like to bother. You have to decide for yourself.
